The small double room was spotless and comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. The friendly hosts provided helpful recommendations for local attractions, enhancing the overall experience. Breakfast featured high-quality local produce, particularly appreciated was the light food option for those needing dietary adjustments. Only minor issues included the limited parking space and busy breakfast times, which made it occasionally crowded.

Perfect stay in a prime spot
We had an awesome two nights here! The location was unbeatable, just a quick stroll to the bars and restaurants. Our room was comfy and the breakfast was just right—not too heavy. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. It's a bit noisy at night with all the activity outside, but that's part of the fun, right?

Oh mate, the Irish soda bread is a must-try! Plus, the nearby Westmorland Inn serves up some cracking local ales. Lovely touch with full-sized toiletries, really feels like home. You won't run out of options for a bite, with Beresford's Restaurant just a hop away too!
WiFi was a bit of a letdown. would’ve loved a heads-up to prep our plans. a mini fridge in the room would be grand to chill those drinks after a day out.

Elim Bank Guest House offered such a warm welcome. Adam and Symmoane are genuinely friendly, making me feel at home instantly. The free Wi-Fi was reliable, a bonus for my planning. The room had a comfortable bed, and I appreciated the inclusion of practical amenities like the kettle and iron. Rooms were kept impeccably clean, and the breakfast spread was delightful with plenty of choices. I enjoyed their locally sourced sausages. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the shops and Lake Windermere. the shower temperature fluctuated, which made hair washing a bit frustrating. I also noticed the pillows could use some softness for better sleep. This guest house has charm but could benefit from minor bathroom updates. Still, I'd return because of the wonderful hosts and great food.

Charming Victorian building situated within walking distance to shops, pubs, and the lake. A delightful home-cooked breakfast made with local ingredients provides a solid start to the day, catering well to special dietary needs.
WiFi connectivity is poor, explicitly highlighted in their handout, which should be noted upfront for planning purposes. The triple room could be improved with additional cupboard and drawer space, as well as a full shower instead of an over-bath setup. Road noise might filter in when windows are open, though we didn’t experience it much during our stay.
